A friend of mine has acquired a Lee Enfield rifle of WW2 era.Very good shape and all that.Bought from U.S. dealer who bought lot in UK.Was told it was manufactured in U.S. for Lend-Lease program. He was wondering if there was a website where the rifle's history could be traced by using it's serial # and plant of manufacture.I thought I would put this query to the world's foremost experts for help in this matter.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
Rick
