I need help! There was a Japanimation movie I saw a long time ago. It was just released on DVD this last year. All I can remember is that the story takes place on another planet. There is a princess that is batteling invaders who have a monster that shoots fire or a lazer out of it's mouth (the monster was not fully formed and was melting as it was firing it's weapon). There was a battle scence where she is attacking them with a bunch of bug like creachers that look like rollie pollies. I found it on Ebay once and somehow lost it. Any help with the name would be helpful.

Must be Miyazaki Hayao's 1986 film Warriors of the Wind. Japanese title is 風の谷のナウシカー (Kaze no Tani no Naushika-, which literally means "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds").
