I don't live anywhere near there but I am trying to visit, with the IPMS ArmoramaUK branch stand to the Model Show in Feb. I haven't had a reply back from the club yat though. Are you a member of the Milton Keynes IPMS Branch?
If I managed to get the go ahead it would be great to meet you there

Just got back into modelling after 25+ yrs away, live in Olney, which is close enough to MK.

MK imps website:http://www.mksmc.co.uk

They also state that the date for the show is incorrect

Hope to have something to show in due course.

Andy B, that email addy appears to be none existant? Are you and Courtney planning on going, oh and the SWMBO, nearly forgot? Even if I can't get a space I might just go anyway, it'll be nice to see you and the young un again and it would be great to meet Andy A

Andy A, if you should get along to a meeting soon can you mention the fact that I have sent an email asking for space. I seem unable to send another request, keeps getting bounced. If there's a phone number I might try calling.

Hi Mal,
Hopefully I'll be going and Courtney will probably tag along, as she will no doubt want another model. I don't think the Beloved will be going though as she will either have too work or babysit the my other two girls

Is there a competition, and if so is it open to all or do you have to be an IPMS member?

Cheers

Andy A, got the message and have just spoken to Brian. He is going to try and squeeze us in, but there is no garuntee. However he says that I should know by Saturday so I will keep you all posted. Sorry Henk I didn't ask about the competition, but I think it is mentioned on their web site.

We have space
I have very little other information, apart from doors open at 10.00 and the show is on Sunday 5th February.
I get the impression that we may be a little out of the way, but beggers can't be choosers, and we might get "upgraded" near the date. I have been sent a confirmation of attendance form which I will send back confirming that we will be attending.
I am not going to try and have the web sites live or anything like that and the tables will have my models only unless some of you can bring something along. I have a copy of the competition rules which I will post on the IPMS A-UK site, or follow the link in my previous post. I am considering entering although I don't normally enter competitions.
Henk, I think it is an open competition, I'll check and get back to you.
I hope to see as many of you there as possible and Courtney, do bring your Sherman along if you can.
As it looks as if we might have more space than we would be able to fill with models I am planning on doing some demos and possibly building something.

Hi Mal,

I will be attending this show, at the moment I don't know if our branch will be attending if they are not I will have some 1/144 scale aircraft to display on the stand. I will know this Saturday if our branch is attending.

Either way I will see you there.

Ciao

Im hoping to get along to this work permitting.
It looks like being a busy year again and the joys of sitting around everyday modelling will soon be over.

Courtney and i should be going, I'll get her to bring her Sherman as soon as Courtney finishes it ( my girls gone off the boil since Xmas, Brat dolls take priority ).
I should be driving so I'll bring a couple of planes and some armor along if you need some space filled.
