I am so ready to watch this on TV..and I have the DVD . Now I have to see if she'll show me where she hid it.

BTW.. I own a daisy Red Ryder 200 shot lever action wood stock with a compass.

I just watched it with my two daughters. Not to be too sentimental but in these days when the kids seem like they can't stand to stay at home with us anymore it's nice to be able to sit down and laugh at such a classic movie.

I’m lucky I just got the Band of Brothers DVDs as a gift so no Christmas Story for me.
This year my mother will be the one complaining about whats own the big TV.

The local Media Play stores are going out of business. I think it's nation wide. They had that lamp, along with an "action figure" of Ralph in his "pink nightmare" suit and Christmas tree ornaments of the leg lamp.

Ok, Im good to go for another year... watched the 10AM this morning while had my coffee... Heavily laced with Baileys Irish cream..

I did notice something though.. In the classroom scenes.. The young fella sitting in front of Ralph.. Does he not look alot like the guy in episode 8 of Band of Brothers.. He was going through the smokes and chocolates, then had to go toss a few bazooka rounds at the german CP across the river... A very strong resemblence..
