Hi all
I recived this photo from my dad to day it will be the pic that goes in the main entrance of the school in Mondrainville in Normandy which has been named after my Dad and his mate Tom,
"Eclole Edwards Griffiths", the medal on the left side of his chest with the ribbon is the Freedom of France Medal and the one above is the 60TH Anniversary of D-Day that is the other one that i have and have offered it up as a prize for a competion for the New Year with Armorama the issue of these was limited and my father was able to get one for me as i had attended over the years all the Anniversarys with him,but was unable to leave the US at the time due to my immigration application.
Cheers Chris

Great photo..Now that's a man to be very proud of.. What an honor for him and you alike I just wish more kids these days understood the sacrifice men like your dad made for the freedoms we enjoy today!
