I can sort out the engine deck mesh ok - Here in the UK we are lucky enought to have Scale Link who do the correct brass diamond shape mesh in scale. BUT, what about the gun barrrel..? It tapers and is long enough to frighten any scratchbuilder.
Has anyone else got around this problem, and can they suggest a replacement without any scratchbuilding? I don't have access to a hobby lathe so aluminuim tube turned down is not an option (that was my first thought) The barrel has a definate taper, rather than a step half way down.
Any advice or suggestions greatfully received
