I need to change my email address here, but how. It seems that when ARC was highjacked my email address was given off to just about to everywhere and everything. Now I'm getting over 90 junk mail and about 20 regular emails a day. I have gone to my my account at the top, Update Password/Profile, but there's no option to change the email address. Would someone have the answer on how to change it. Thanks much...
Joe

Due to some problems a while back, Jim changed the ability to change your email address to something more difficult.
You need to contact Jim (Staff_Jim) with the new info and he will change it for you.

Hi
I also badly need to get my e-mail adress changed, in the last week I have received 40-60 spam mails a day.
So now I have a new e-mail adress onle for Armorama :-)
I'm quite new to the site, and I can't seem to find a place to contact: staff-jim

I am working on some updates to the whole password and account management system right now. Until that happens I am the only person who can update email addresses directly via the database.
Everyone knows how to contact me right?
Thanks for your patience on this.
And for the record your email address (if public) is protected by 2 layers of security. And I am not selling the master list to anyone so if people are getting spamed it would have to be something along the lines of a person signing up with an account, being logged in and then manually copying and pasting emails from each user profile. That's a lot of work for 13,000 users. :-)
Cheers,
Jim

Hi again
My problem is not being spam by someone from Armorama.
I know who the guilty person is, and I have told him what I mean about his little "stunt"
But that doesn't the problem with the spammails and that I can't figure out how to contact you.
You can contact me on this adrees: [email protected]
if that is any help.
I no a computer geek - but a modelbuilder :-)

Have I done anything wrong, or is it just me who is to impatient ?
It's now more than 2 days, since I sent my request for e-mail change, but it is still the same.
I really need this changed, so that I can close my old account, today alone I have deleted 107 spammails !
