I noticed something in the movie " Saving Private Ryan" that has always bugged me a little bit. In the scene right after they have opened up the beach, we see Sargent Horvath scooping up dirt and putting it into little cans. He appears to have a band aid on one of his fingers. Did they HAVE those back in WWII? Not a big deal but it makes me wonder. Yes, it is a slow news day today.

WOW...its a trivia question, but a great one. You never here mention of it ...It's always apply a dressing never once have I heard put a band-ad on it . Thought you had caught one of those Hollywood boo-boos like a Roman soldier wearing a watch.

That reminds me of one boo-boo in a movie I just watched (again) recently. In the movie Tae Guk Gi, the older brother Jin-Tae gives a Hershey bar to his younger brother and you can clearly (although briefly) see the bar code on the back of the wrapper. I'm pretty sure they didn't have bar code UPC's on candy bar's in 1950 Korea. lol
