I have seen some of these Lego models before. They are pretty impressive and fun.
I still have a huge amount of Lego, from when I was a kid. If I was to build tanks, with what I have, they would be red, blue, white, yellow and black. I'll leave it to these guy's.

Hi guys,
I was just thinking how funny it was that lego popped up in the forums. If you think about it,lego is probably one of the first stepping stones on the way to modeling.
With lego you've got the box with a nice picture on the front, parts, and instructions on how to put it together.Sounds kinda familiar???
Does lego count?I think so!!
Cheers,Merry Xmas to all,Shay
This fella kind of looks lego-ish !

Man, I miss my Lego days. They were my first hobby (going stong until I was 15...) and were put aside so I could move to this one! So Shay was right, Lego is one of the first steps to modeling. I never could build a good looking tank like these guys, but I still have a few odds and ends that I've built over the years laying around. In fact, the last Lego creation I finished is sitting on the table next to my computer. Maybe I should post it for fun...

At the the risk of sounding like a total 'Grump', these are clever, well thought out, but they come into the category of 'gimmickry' rather than scale modelling.
Frankly, they are well-done, but in the final analysis are little more than vague representations of the actual subject. To me they are worh seeing, but, in the final analysis they are little more than toys...Jim
