I got my leave pass in my hands and am ready to go!!! Maybe, just maybe I'lll actually be able to find some time to work on my models. My wife just got my Christmas order from Military Hobbies/Northstar, she's happy but liked dealing with Dave directly better. After holidays it's off to Kandahar. I'm going early so I just might cross paths with some of our friends over there already. So who is taking over the handover of IPMS Kandahar :-)

Enjoy the time off Mike. I'd try and grab some time building but if you are leaving after the holidays, I think you wife might have somethin to say about that.. Good luck and be safe...

Mike... my first day off was today. After leave, I head over too. I'm not sure that I will get much modeling done in Kandahar as I'll be in a different camp than you. I might try and take some sculpting materials and/or some figures and try my hand at this aspect of the hobby.

Merry Christmas from Kandahar. working hard to get things ready for IPMS KAF Roto 1. Don't plan on any build time while you are here though.

In my job i'd be surprised if I got ANY downtime! It'll be 6 monthes of go go go I think. At least that will make the time go faster.
