Salut Jean-Luc,

I'm building some of the new Tamiya 1/48th armor kits.
(Sturmgeschutz & Sherman) I'm glad Tamiya & Skybow are releasing these armor kits. It makes it easy for someone like me (who is used to 1/48th scale aircraft & intimidated by 1/35th) to model something different...

...great website & models!

I grew up playing in the dirt with a pack of matches and some green army soldiers...now that I recently had a little boy of my own, I figured it would be a good time to start modeling again...for his sake and my sanity! I'm mostly a quarter scale modeler, recently starting two 1/48th scale armor kits from Tamiya. I love music and collect vinyl records, own and run a restaurant with my wife and currently work 8 days a week raising my son Dexter!

Oh yes! I recognise and endorse that sentiment... :-) :-) :-)

Just make sure he doesn't get near your models!!!

Nigel..welcome to the Big A. You are now a member of the best model community on the net. No where else will you find as many people that are so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and just plain out willing to help in one place. Anything that you need..just ask..someone will help..

And when you are ready..load some pitures into your gallery, and show us what you've got.

Hey Carl,

Our restaurant is the Nat Porter in Warren...we don't do breakfast but we cook a mean dinner!
Apponaug Color Shop ( Warwick area ) is the only shop that I know of around here. ( I'm relatively new to the area & just started modeling again )
