Hi all
I am compiling information to build a vacuum pump with a fridge compressor, anybody has tried something similar? experiences?, are there other ways cheaper and easiest to obtain copies using vacuum?
i would like to contact with somebody who had make his own pump to clarify some doubts

I assume for Resin casting?
I Pressure cast all of my resin (as I already own a Air compressor)

All you really need is a few inches of vacuum. A plain everyday vacuum would do.

Maybe this site is something for you. Besides this guys is making some brilliant stuff, he is all doing it on his home made vacuform table. Truely interesting. I`m also planning on making my own Vacu form table.... wish I had the time.
