Hi everyone. I am having trouble with Skype. We have just changed internet providers and now have a direct satellite link but since we have changed from an indirect satellite link we have lost out on the use of Skype. All our provider can tell us is that since Skype is a voice over type program that the lag time through the satellite makes it unstable and wont operate correctly? Has any one else had any trouble with it or has a satellite link and skype that works? Tankysgal and I have both contacted Skype and we get the same answers to our questions and it just doesnt fix it. We can see members on our list but everytime we send a meesage we get a message back that says the message hasnt been delivered yet. I'm still waitng for message to Grumpyoldman and to Mother to get delivered for the last 2 days. Any one that can offer any help we sure would appreciate it. Thanks and sorry for the rant. Kevin

well, if your internet provider says it doesnt work with it, it usually means it doesnt. You can always switch over to some good old, slow, AOL

Kevin I have not yet to see any messages from your end. Every so often I do see that you and Mary are on, but can't get connected. Just now having a look shows Mary is away and the last time she was on was Nov. 30th and you were last on Dec. the 5th. The next time I see you on I try and give you a ring again.
