Its just a thought i have creeping up to being old,i was watching a tv film about The Boy Soldiers in WW1and i found myself with tears in my eyes,
when the other half asked me what was wrong,and why was i so upset i tried to explain.
This was for the uniform i never wore.
and for the war i never fought.

I can understand how you feel Arthur, I've felt quite emotional myself during some of these programmes lately.
In this case my wife's father faked his birth certificate and joined up in 1916 at only 14 years old - got caught and sent to the Army school in Maidstone, Kent, until he was old enough for the Colours.

I can somewhat relate. I was in
Law Enforcement for a little over ten years. A few years ago I became disabled. Now whenever I hear about cops "going bad " or screwing up, its like the sound of fingernails on a blackboard. I worked my entire adult life to have something that they throw away for greed. Sometime life does not make sense.
