I think we, as a community, were just scammed by a troll presenting itself as a couple, one of whom took offense at a post in which I noted how few women participate in this hobby and used that as an excuse to leave in a huff with an apparent flurry of pm's. My, if read aloud, would have sounded like a rant from South Park's Cartman.
In any case, I've seen this behavior elsewhere, the most egregious one endeared itself to the group, created a fiancee for itself, posted as both incarnations and eventually left, came back, left again.
Unfortunately, this type of troll is harder to avoid than the flamer who comes in initailly with inflamatory posts and can be more easily ignored. Some people just have nothing better to do.

Erik, if you were inivolved, you'd know. I'd rather not feed
it and give it cause to create further distress. A couple other folks have come to the same conclusionand dropped me pm's supporting by suspicions.

You're right Al. It is sad that some folks have nothing better to do. For my part, I enjoy this site more than I would like to admit. I also enjoy actually building models.
Trolling on the interweb thingy isn't high on my list of things to do.
Baiting folks for an arguement or flame war here just isn't going to tolerated.

Use the "Hide" option... you'll feel much better. I know that I do on the one time that I've used it. That was the least that I could do as the snot-nosed twerp is a long swim away...

Best to ignore them, they'll soon go somewhere else.
