Dave (Grumpy) emailed this to me. Found a link:

Enjoy,

Turn your speakers down a bit if you are at work. Not that anyone surfs the Big A on company time...

I do! :-) :-) :-) This time of year is practically a joke as far as a "work load" is concerned. Very cool video. I get the impression that people tend to frown on stuff like that, but I remember growing up how homes decked out in lights made this time of year that much more exciting for me.

Wow, that is pretty darn cool! Although I do think someone may have just a little too much time on their hands.... :-) :-)

I wasn't able to load the video here at work, where I am on break of course, but I can imagine what it's showing.

When I was a kid the entire block I lived on, about 45 houses or so, decorated their homes with lights. Each house had a lighted plastic lantern out front in front of their tree. It was really pretty spectacular. For a while there was one person who refused to go along, we all called him Scrooge, and the city even offered to pay for the lights to get him to do it. Tour busses would go down the street every night to let people see all the decorations. For years anywhere in town all somebody had to know was that I lived on this street and they'd tell me about how much they loved the display. That's one of my favorite memories from childhood.

I just checked Snopes.com and this was real, however, the music was broadcast over low frequncy radio. That said, it must have driven his neighbors nuts to have had all that flashing going on.

We still have house lighting contest around me.
My apartment management doesn't like decorating....
in fact it's a clause in the lease, but most of us disreguard it. The people on the other side of my court yard, had theirs up and running before halloween.. :-)

Living along.... OK EVERYBODY SAY---- AWwwwwwww poor Grumpy-------
I usually just slap a small set up..... keeps the neighbors happy and management pi**ed :-) :-)

Hi, Thanks for the posting. It was really neat. I wondered while watching it if that wasn't the tran-Siberian Orchestra playing. Kind of sounded like it. Going to have to get some of their music as I really liked that.

Thanks and take care, Sgirty

I also think it was. They make some pretty cool music. To bad you only really hear them on the radio around Christmas.
