For anyone interested in the The Battle of Blaauwberg, the 200th anniversary of said battle is coming up in January 2006.

I heard about the celebrations and this link on CapeTalk today... if you're in Cape Town over the festive season, check it out.... looks like it could be fun... especially the recreation of the British troops landing...
