Hey Andrew
Yeah, the figure close up could be more in focus and therefore is hard to comment on, but for the others, I think the mud is sensational! Really looks like a churned up road/track. Did your camera make the mud look 'redder' than it actually is, like mine does with some tones? Well done again for your 'return' dio
Cheers
Bradley

A fixed link:

Pretty damn good for a first dio!!
The only thing that stuck out to me was that the mechanic under the jeep is floating.
Can you push him down further into the groundwork?
Cheers.

Hi Andy
Thanks for fixing the link. The way i did the figure is so that his left hand side is on the gronud and he is having to stretch so it is like he is lifting 1 side of his body off the ground. His legs are actually on the ground. In reference to the "redder" the camera has made it look a couple of shades redder. The mud was made with a combination of mig pigments, railway ballast and realistic water. But that was the idea to make the road look like it was churned up.
The trees are from "Woodlands Scenic" and took awhile to get it right. Trying to find the right trees. It hasn't been based on a Vietnam theme, sort of more like vechiles on exercise. The big foot and willys were in service at the same time for about 3 years.
Sorry about the camera again
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew ,
I reckon you should post this on the main site under category , dioramas . A couple of small things , the mechanic does look slightly as if he is levitating , but you describe this , but I would think he would use the Tarpaulin to lie on , in proximity to that mud .
I doubt they would be in as big a hurry to fix the vehicle with the crew lounging around .
I really like the wet look to the groundwork . Keep up the good work .
