I'm working on the Trump SA-2 Guideline launcher and tractor, the kit comes with vinyl tires, how can I remove the gloss of the tires, some of the gloss is silicone so can I wash the tires in something (degreaser?) and then paint them?
Got any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Wash as recommended by "3442", then you need to rough up the sidewalls and treads. "BM2" is correct on sanding the tread. I used a very stiff toothbrush to take shine off the sidewalls. Give it a try on the inside of the tire and see what you think. Jeff
