The wife loves watching old episodes of Quincy. I must admit he is good, he solves more murders than the rest of the police force combined. However something occurred to me the other day, they never mention his first name.
Does anyone know what his first name is and if so could they tell me? It is beginning to bug me.

Martin, he never actually had a first name. Apparently it began with 'R', but never went any further. There is a movie due out featuring Quincy ME, where the ME is Jack Klugman's Nephew, and apparently we are going to learn his first name in that, but in the series it was never mentioned.

Hi Vinnie, thanks for the info about the upcoming film. I'll try to make sure Wifey doesn't hear about it, she will be sure to want to drag me along to watch it.

On a similar note, I was watching Colombo the other day and the murder asked if he (Colombo) had a first name and Colombo replied that he did but it was only known to his wife and his captain.

Daytime soap trivia? Either this calls for a new "jeopardy" style quiz thread, or for the men in white coats...

Must be a woman thing, my girlfriend likes Quincy too. I find the 70s clothing far too scary

Quicy is allegedly based on Dr Thomas Noguchi - coroner to the stars- and I read somewhere that a few of the early episodes were filmed in a real MEs lab.
