Hi all,
Next year I will be spending 6 months working in a YMCA camp in Southern England and afterwards a mate and I will be heading over to Europe. I have family in Germany and have already planned to meet up with some members (you know who you are).
I do need some help, We are planning on doing a fair bit of travelling and were wondering what you suggest is the best way of getting around really really cheap.
We hope to go from Rotterdam to Copenhagen to Berlin, to Nuremberg then to France and Belgium. I know the distances are really big but we will probably stop off along the way too.(this is not the final intenery)
TIA
FAUST

Interrail might be the cheapest way to travel, but at bit unflexible - especially if you want to see stuff away from the rails ...

Hi Andy, I did a little travelling around Europe about 10 years ago and we went everywhere by train.
We went through Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Holland ( I agree Robert, you MUST visit Amsterdam) France and England. My only regret is not having the time to see everything we wanted to so I will be going back again one day.

Happy travels.

Hi Dave,
I am going to be at YMCA Fairthorne Manor, which is 15 minutes from a little village called Botley which in turn is about 30 or 40 minutes North of Southampton
