Yes. There was something strange going on. There were some strange posts in the general modelling and diorama forums from a user name FROST. when I replied to one of them the original post title changed to my name.????? I still don't knoe exactly what happened.

Hisham, it was Frost's posts that were deleted, and that left yours remaining.

Mary,
You are not alone, I didn't get that same message, but the site has been acting very strangly for the last 20 minutes or so. (couldn't get on a couple of times, once reached the home page but couldn't link to anywhere else) I guess something to do with this "Frost" clown.

No, I mean the title of the topic itself became Hisham instead of the original armorama and I think he is back with the name Fraust now. ?????

And it seems like the little creep is back again. I would like to know what the rest of us has done since this Frost character suddenly starts to spam the site.

If you notice that post was started by Frost while the guy saying hi to me is Husky and it says 0 zero replies. That post was originally titled armorama.

A minute ago there were posts poping up with the name Fraust titled (I'm back!!!!!!!!) and then diassapearing. This guy is definitley meesing with the site

Are you sure about that? The original "troll" post was by "Frost". Regardless the best thing to do is ignore the goof and let Jim take care of it.

I am pretty sure Frost, Fr0st and Fraust is the same person. As Mike says, it was Frost who started the spamming.

And Pete: When you come over with your Abrams and Bradleys, I will support the operation with Leopards, CV 90s and mortarfire :-)

Cheers

Erik,
CAN I GET A HOOAGH!!!!!

You know what guys and gals, it is kinda funny. It's like a "Keystone Cops" movie, but on the internet.

I do feel bad for the staff having to chase this guy around though.

Just remember, when you post a response to a troll or a troublemaker, you are just helping that person succeed in disrupting the site. Face it, your post will not be the one to make the troll see the error of his ways and stop.

It also makes deleting the topic more difficult for the moderators to spot. When searching "Latest Posts", if the troll is the only one in that thread, then he is easier to track down and delete posts.

When a regular member responds, then that post masks the thread from the moderator. Additionally, moderators can only delete threads by deleting one post at a time. The more responses to the thread, the harder it is for the moderator to delete that thread.

The real Frost is the one who threw a fit because no one was answering his posts as quick as he would like. He started spamming the forums with nonsense and because his nonsense posts were being deleted, he started creating new usernames to continue his little tirade.
