I found an online source for movies that looks really good and I was wondering if any of you folks had used them. It's called Odd Banana. For example they've got a double DVD set, Battleground and Battle Cry, two of the better small unit movies of WWII, for $6.63. http://stores.channeladvisor.com/OddBanana-Books-Music-Movies-DVD/items/item.aspx?itemid=3535717

Shipping for one DVD is $4.00 and $1.00 for each additional one. I put four DVDs in the shopping cart, totalling 6 discs, and shipping was under $10.00.

This may be old hat to some of you, but these prices look pretty good to me.

I'll probably be ordering a few also.

Well, just got the E-mails that my packages were shipped, all three..... now my order wasn't that large to require 3 packages.... so why it's being sent in 3 separate packages is beyond me, but they do include a tracking number for each. (Maybe a way to squeeze extra postage)

I'll keep the members posted on the arrival and quality and final cost including shipping of these DVDs.

Just an update on this outfits service.
So far one package arrived, well packed, no damage, and the 3 DVD's inside are of good quality.
This first package contained:
The double set of "Battleground/Battlecry"
The second one was "A Walk in the Sun".

So far I'd rate them as an excellent source of cheaper prices, for some classis movies.

Well, I'm happy to report to everyone, that I would certainly do business with this Old Banana place again.

All my DVD's have arrived, total cost with shipping was 57 smackers.

My total ordered DVD's were:
The double set of "Battleground/Battlecry"
The second one was "A Walk in the Sun".
the next package
Flat Top
To Hell and Back-- (I could put a funny one liner in here but will refrain)
The Enemy Below
The Sea Wolves
One double CD set with 8 really old black and white low budget films (can't name them they are in my work locker)
and three more dvd each with 4more WW2 classics on each.

Gee Dave did you read my Christmas wish list? Battleground/Battlecry was the first one I looked up, Walk in the Sun, To Hell and Back, Enemy Below are all also in my shopping cart. I'l probably wait to see what Santa brings, but I'm sure going to use these folks.
