The best one I ´ve tasted it´s the Kuntsmann (Chile), I found it the best, very close to some german beers but better. Some german guys maybe know it.

I'm from a bit more north then  you on the North/ West Yorkshire boundary (about 6 miles from Tadcaster) so it's John Smiths all the way for me as well

Well for me here in Canada....my drink of choice would be Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale, you can get it in regular India Pale Ale, Red, and Honey...good stuff if you ever get to Canada to try. 
Some others I like, Black Wych Stout from the UK is a good one, probably another of my favs.

  Surely shouldn't that be Theakstons Old Peculier, my favourite tipple?  Other possibilities for me include Old Speckled Hen, Bishops Tipple, Wadworths 6X, & I bought one from Tescos the other day which commemorated Trafalgar (6% ABV).  I also confess a liking for mead...
