We are now discusing Nationalism.To what that has been established previously in our debate, Bosnia-herzgonevia was taken gladly by austria who wished to stop the rebellions and prevent there patchwork empire from falling apart. But this made matter worse. The creation of the black hand etc, people from these two provinces wanted there independance more than ever. (now much more can be said)
To my luck, Germany ,in there opening speech, blamed us,russia, for nationalism because it createdthe black hand because we "supported" the pan slavic movement and said we were therefore responsible for the murder of Franz Ferdinand. Now i found something interesting. Gavrilo Princip was not a member of the black hand but a member of the "young bosnians" who wished to obtain bosnian indepandance from austria. So unless the austrian team has better reaserch, it seems like they are responsible for the assasination of Franz Ferdinands because there anaxation with bosnia caused the creation of hte group that assasinated the young prince.
I love debates, and love history, how better can things get! Ohh, and that intrest has saved me in the militarism part of the debate
