I'm really sorry to hear that the museum is off limits
to anyone without a Gov.ID. - What if your with somebody
with a Gov.ID ?
I really wanted to get some pic's of the W.W.II trophy tanks,
even though i'm kinda p - #%$&^% off at the Army for
altering their original paint schemes.
( LOL ) Sabot, i know you should be coming in right
about here ! ( LOL ) :-)

Actually, APG did the world a favor by putting any paint on the vehicles. They knew they did not have the time, money or personnel to put the proper schemes on, so they put any paint on just to preserve the vehicles. Knowing full well that when the time ever came that they could restore the vehicles, then they wouldn't be so badly rusted.

As far as entry with an ID card holder, I think it depends on who is the ID card holder and who he is signing in. (i.e. active duty soldier bringing parents on post, etc.) I am not sure, but will check and get back with you guys.

If you think you'e got problems, try getting onto Kofa firing range at YPG. I had to have a visitor request faxed to their pass office with my security clearance and a whole bunch of other info. Then had to get a camera pass from another location miles away.
There may not be nearly the amount of trophy vehicles here, but they have definitely got some cool stuff. The M204 looks like an easy scratchbuild. Naturally, there's stuff coming down the pipe I can't photograph, but hopefully my memory's pretty good.
