Well, don't go looking for any of the local model club tables as there won't be any.

The Hobby Show management has decided to require clubs to pay this year and my club (Peel Scale) and, I believe, all of the others have told them to take a flying leap.

They had the gall to suggest that local clubs pony up over $800 for the previously free typical set up of 15+ tables for the weekend. When that was protested, the response was that people were lining up for tables and that was the new policy. They were cordially told to go find those people and tell them 15 places in the line had now been freed up.

$800! Bloody helll.

I will be going down also. SWMBO is an avid scrapbooker and stamper but isn't going with me this year. She figured I would be alot longer looking at my stuff then hers so its just me.

Paul, thats crappy news. I enjoyed looking at all the models of different clubs. Didn't seem like there was a lack of space last year. Sounds like a money grab.

I've been told by Sheldon that my first seminar will be around 12:00 to 12:30 on Sat. He's asked me to use one of his single action AB's If he's not looking I'll switch over to my dual action workhorse (VLS) .

I'll be there both days,...
