At the old hobby shop that I went to the brass rods and the drill bits were displayed next to one another based on size. I never really paid attention to what size I was getting and I am embarressed to say that I can't figure out how to buy brass rods online and bits to match their size; I use a pin vise.
How do you match a bit size with a rod diameter? I live in the land of no hobby shops within even reasonable driving distance; so I can't ask the friendly guy behind the counter for help anymore.
Thanks,
Dave

you'd need a Micrometer or a set Dial calipers. you need to know the Diameter. those are the easiest ways to do it.
