Just got off the phone with the bro...at least thats working... They have no water or electric and may not for some time. He's been through a few storms in his 15 years down there and none compare to the damage of Wilma. Unfortuanetly (sp) all were caught off guard by her power. Was wondering how other members from Florida are doing. I asked him to put a list together of things he needs and will send a package overnite if need be..Top on his list was water and a warm meal.
He said the place looks like a war zone and the damage extensive. Are there any members anywhere near Ft. Lauderdale? Maybe make a care package run? I would be more than happy to pay for any expenses incurred.

John I am sorry to hear that the folk down there have been hit yet again. I think Animal (Dave Wilett is also somewhere there and was probably hit as well.
Hope they are all OK and things get better quick.
cheers

John,
Tell Ken we will all be thinking about him. Hopefully his withdrawl symtoms from Armorama will not be for too long!
Our power was out for 2 hrs last night and it was rather depressing not have tv, lights, computer or internet. I have decided I would have not liked living in the stone age. :-)
I hope Ft. Myers and Naples made it through okay... my old home down there.
Cheers,
Jim

Sorry to hear about the news John. Wish him well for me. I also hope that Ft Myers made it through, my mom's retirement escape villa is down there. She's up here atm so we don't know yet. The park didn't call her so we're thinking it can't be that bad.

Good luck to all Floridians! My brother and my brother-in laws- live in Florida. I will be going down there a week from Friday... We will be packing a cooler full of midwest goodies. If I can help I will be in the Orlando and St Augustine areas... PM me if I can give a hand!

We were very lucky here in the Daytona Beach area. No reportable damages and very little power outages. It was far better for us this time then last year when we got hit by three out of the four hurricanes.
