Hi everyone,
Im Samantha (i prefere sam though) i have just joined the site. Im from the United Kingdom and i think so far im the only female to join from the uk. I teach at the local air cadets i have been teaching for just over a year as a civilian instructor before this i was a cadet corporal. i left last summer as i was getting near kick out age then returned to help with teaching last year and in feb i became an offical civilian instructor once i turned 20. I got into modeling through the cadets and my boyfriend has really helped me from the start. I have also been flying radio controlled aircraft on and off since the age of 6.
I mainly model airaft in all scales but mainly the hunter as its a wonderful airplane. I also enjoy modeling figures (mainly 120mm), sci-fi, anime, and i have built a couple of cars.

Welcome to the site Sam. I hope to be seeing some of your aircraft soon..
by the way that figure of Yuna you have posted in your gallery is very nice. The first thing I noticed after the bright colors is the eyes and how in the photo they seem to be looking right at you..

Welcome Sam,
Good to see another female in the ranks. I see that you enjoy all the aspects of the hobby involving the Aircraft. I always wanted to try radio controlled aircraft, but I don’t have the hand, eye coordination

Looking forward to seeing some of your Aircrafts.

Hi Sam,
Welcome!
Nice Ostfront FW diorama

Nice figure, too! My poor old eyes didn't realize it is a model until I enlarged it

Hi Sam, welcome to the Big-A

You will love it here as there is no such thing as a dumb question. The guys and gals are great and there is also a wealth of talent within these pages from around the world.
There is a welcome thread started on the aircraft forum go
HERE As a member of Armorama you are eligable to vote in the MOM and I would be honoured if you would consider entering you Red Arrows Hawk into the November MOM
As Costas says, if you have any questions regarding the site, just ask.
Just so you are all aware, obviously Jean-Luc is, Sam answered a query in SAMI (Scale Aviation Modeller International) asking if there were any female modellers out there and it's great that we now have another female modeller here.

As Angela said..there are a few of us girls around here now..before you know it..we will take over.HAHA..Perhaps we need to start a Female Modelors Forum..?? A place where the gals can meet and share their experiences. ..
Glad to have ya on the site....
