Well, today is the 8th day of rain.I actually had some water in my cellar. It rained close to 4" overnight.I don't have anything on the floor that would be a loss if the water rose, but my aircompressor was only slightly elevated.I will wait until I have pumped out,and then see if it got bit. This may be the modeling God's way of telling me to buy a new compressor.
I wonder if the water trap worked? :-)

Being so swamped with rain down here....
I fogotten it also rained elsewhere.......
good luck to you guess along the path of this never ending rain system..........

Sun is out today, but they are saying enjoy it .... it's not going to last and more "showers" are coming..... Along with the sun strong winds came along, and you all know..... soggy ground and strong winds brings downed tress, and powerlines.

The good news is that they are saying that after Tuesday..... it will never rain again...... :-) :-) JUST SNOW!!!!!

carl, if you let it totally dry out before plugging it in you should be fine. We used to use a hose to clean out appliances. As long as we let them dry out we were good to go.

Snowman,
That is my thought exactly, though any excuse to buy a compressor with a tank,or a less expensive on...
