Are there any 1:35 Merkava kits around, resin or injection. I know there are Tamiya, Academy and Italeri kits; are these any good? Also, are there any resin conversion sets around? Any help would be appreciated.

Tamiya's is nice but is the early Merkava 1 model. Academy's Merkava 2 is nice as well. I hear the Academy Merkava 3 is based on a pre-production proto type that was basically a modified Merkava 2 and not representative of a production Merkava 3.

I do not believe Italeri does a Merkava besides the reissued 1/72 scale Esci kit.

Legend Productions has several conversion sets for the Academy Merk II and III. I'm hoping to pick up a couple of them the next time I see them on sale.
