Hi Guys quick question, a am building a Panther and after reading several post here and there about colour/color schemes as to whether they are correct or not so am wondering what color should i be painting this thing it is the italeri 1/35 kit in the instructions it said to use sand and flat tan is this correct or not?

Redleg, the color is Dunkelgelb or Dark Yellow. Tamiya makes a great match for this. There are other brands out there, but I like this one. Hope this helps. "Q"

Exactly what Matthew said, the Tamiya paint is a perfect match for this. I'm currently working on the old Panther A kit while I have some down time as it's a fairly simple kit. The Dark Yellow by Tamiya is the way to go.

Just another question, what about the other colours, rotbraun and olivgrun? diffrent sources say sdiffrent tamiya paints.

Rotbraun--Red Brown, Olivgrun- Olive Green.

If you pick two colors that approximate these colors you should be alright. The paint itself came in a paste and depending what it was mixed with, would appear differently.
Tamiya's colors are again a good match here. After awhile you will develop an eye for what looks right to you. Most importantly though.......just have fun. "Q"
