Hmmm...A new verse for the politically incorrect "Columbo" cadence from another post:

A holiday they named for him
The Postmen are delighted,
All but ours, who's Navajo,
And naturally feels slighted.

He said it could be found, oh
He said the world was round , oh
That hypothetical, mast____ing son of a b_____ Columbo!

I'll show you all, said postal dude
Who came as crooks and peasants,
It's Indian Retribution Day!
And he held back all our presents.

He said it could be found, oh
He said the world was round , oh
That hypothetical, mast____ing son of a b_____ Columbo!

Almost wish I was a Drill Sergeant again...

Hi, Good one 18bravo. Columbus isn't exactly one of my historical heroes. Although I imagine that if it hadn't been him it would have been somebody else. Since the white man had been here before in other areas, it was just a matter of time before we began to stick somewhere along the coastal regions.

A pox on him and all of his descendants; and those like him that followed in his footsteps!!!!!!!

Take care, Sgirty

Oh, but wait-there's more!

Not rain, not snow, nor even sleet
Could stem our flow of plastic
But for a guy who was lost we stop the post
Now that seems rather drastic!

He said it could be found, oh
He said the world was round , oh
That hypothetical, mast____ing son of a b_____ Columbo!

You would think priority items like models would continue to be delivered

I must say I was surprised to hear you polically correct Yanks still have Columbus Day... we canned Van Riebeek's Day (which was basically the same as Columbus Day) as soon as we had the change in government...

I always thought the Norsemen landed in N.America first... also, and here's one for the conspiracy theorists, it's rumoured that the missing Templar fleet sailed west... towards N.America... I believe that was before Mr. C....

But I agree with Harry... how can you discover something that's already there?
