Hello Gentlemen,
I'm hoping that one of you can help me. I' looking for photos and info
on the Olifant's predesesors the Skokkian, and the very early petrol
engined Olifants that were sent to the border with Angola in I believe
1978. The Semel I ' ve read was the prototype, the Sokkian a more
refined version, and theOlifant Mk.1 the refined Skokkian built by
Sandock Austral the people that built all the later Diesel Olifants. Any
thing will be a great help.

I have to confess knowing little of what you're talking about, save for the fact that the Olifant is derived from the Centurion. Would the early ones have the same petrol engine? If so, I can send you photos of the Tamiya 1/25 engine, or alternately, photos of engine drawings found in the Mk 3 Centurion manual. (no scanner at home)
