Did ya hear about the boy that lost his eye while shooting at his new model tank with a BB gun? The projectile ricocheted, the boy was trying to shoot a die cast. :-) :-) :-)

I used to use these to keep in my sniping skills honed. With a good high powered pellet gun and some distance, it was the best thing I had. And best of all, it worked. I could actually call my shots to my son. Leg, arm, torso, head etc..Pretty soon he started trying it. Could never catch his ole man though. Its a shame the kid lost his eye shooting a diecast. Maybe now he'll know better. "Q"

Hi, Good memories Jacob. I can remember putting a bag or two of those plastic soldiers to use down on my grandpa's farm years and year, AND years ago myself.

Used to build 'dug outs,' 'bunkers,' 'mg' nests and such in the side of a creek bank down in a gorge and then getting off a hundred yards or so on the other side, up on a hill and shooting down into them and trying to hit something (anything really). It was there that I found out that bullets do not travel in a straight line from the barrel to the target. Ha, ha! Back in the good old days. Thankfully the cows were over on the other side of the other hill.

Take care, Sgirty

No price for being stupid. Kids and guns are a bad combination.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. Guns are a part of our heritage. My son cut his teeth on a pellet gun until I bought him a Ruger 10 .22 last year, at age ten.
UNSUPERVISED, ILLTRAINED kids, or persons of any age, are definitely a bad combo.
Don't see the loss of an eye as a laughing matter either.

I guess it was my fault not to tell you that it was only a JOKE, I meant it to be funny because of the new and latest craze of buying diecast models instead of plastics like we build. Some how I thought the humor would have been more easily read. Sorry.

Sorry if I messed up anyones day or emotions.
