This evenign the sad news arrived here that one of britains greatest actors has died. Ronny Barker actor in the british Comedy Series Porridge about the live in prison.

God he used to make me laugh him and Ronnie Corbet my youth..so many laughs.

Mr Barker was born in the town where I live. His terrace house has had a "Ronnie Barker was born here" plaque on it for years.

Top bloke - really nice man to boot, no-one has a bad word about him.

The Two Ronnies, Open all hours, Porridge and Going straight are still my favorite comedy shows. He will be missed (spitting image of my dad too).
