I have been away for quite a while and I will have to do a lot of catching up.
But first I have to ask something the Turkish guys that frequent this forum.
I am going to Istanbul next weekend and I would very much appreciate it if someone could tell me the address of a good scale model shop there.

There is a lot to see there, ranging from the Topkapi and Aya Sophia to the yerebatan cysterns and the archeological museum.

I volunteered to give you a show around as far as my time is suitable(which is Sunday, I am sorry most of the model shops are closed that day but Museums are open). By the way don't forget the Naval and the Army museums. Oh of course the Aviation Museum too....
