Does anyboy know a good website with a complete list of modeling events or clubs and where they're located? I live in central Illinois, and as far as I know there isn't much here... Not that you need to be a detective to figure that out...
Perhaps someone on this site live in the same area?

It may be a drive for you but the IPMS Nationals are frequently held in Chicago if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately, their being held here in Virginia Beach this year-also a frequent place for it.
The IPMS website also has a list of regional events that are held. You can find it here. Hope this helps you out.

Heck Yodaman, the IPMS Nationals were in Chicago this past year. May be a several hour drive, but much closer than most of us. Go to the IPMS homepage http://www.ipmsusa.org/ and search for chapters in your area. It will at least give you points of contact and some may even know of shows/swaps/shops nearby. I see 12 Illinois chapters, about half in the Chicago area. I'm not familiar with your area, so I don't know if any are close by.Does anyboy know a good website with a complete list of modeling events or clubs and where they're located? Seems like you already have what is needed IPMS stands for International Plastic Modeller's Society, you should be able to contact anybody at the regional level to find out. But do you have a base of modeller's already?
Good luck and have fun! I myself am born and raised in Milwaukee WI, but the last 15 years have been in Sweden!!
