I would love to start using my PC using 2D or 3D graphics
to help in creating some scratchbuilding techniques.
Any ideas????

Depends on what you would like to spend. I have seen pseudo-AutoCAD programs available at Circuit City/Best Buy that run for about $100. If that is a little too steep, then I would suggest a good drawing program (and no MS paint is not a good drawing program ). They are cheaper but don't necessarily have the same technical focus as an AutoCAD type program would. Of course, there is always the official version of AutoCAD that runs for a few thousand dollars. :-) Hope this helps.

PS Almost forgot, Office Depot offers a good manual mechanical drawing set that includes rulers, pencils, triangles, etc. that runs for about $15. Best part is that you don't need to be an artist to use this (believe me, I can account for that fact).

Thanks, Kyle.

I might just try that, after seeing the steep price.
I thought I seen an ad for Autocad for like $49.95
is that a gimmick???.

Seen a link once, that he used Autocad for
scratchbuilding, not sure how that was done.
