Ok I have a little problem here, you see I don't know how to zip files into a folder. While I'm healing here I'd thought I do some reviews, but I need to zip the photos to submit them.

1) I'm running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
2) Is there a zip file program installed on my computer
3) What and how to I zip files

Thanks for the answers...

There is a free program called winzip, you get it from www.winzip.com. It is the best free zip/unzip around.

Joe,
There is an outstanding file manager called Total Commander. It is shareware, but you can use it without regestering. I've been using it for years.
It does everything from Zipping/unzipping to FTPing.
You can get it at :
http://ghisler.com

Also, its really easy to use.

Joe you already have a zip program on your pc. right click the file you want to zip then slide the pointer down to "send to" and click compressed zipped folder. It will create another zipped folder in your documetns with the same heading as the file you zipped. Hope this helps you. Cheers Kevin

Hi there Joe...good to see your're back
Windows XP has a build it compressor and decompressor agent. To compress files (as Kevin mentioned above) right click on the files or folders then select 'send to' select compressed folder. I never use this features even it is installed.
but i IMHO the most popular fiel compressor is Winzip. It's shareware and can be downloaded at www.winzip.com. It's a small file yet powerfull tool to compress (zip) files.

after installing winzip, run the program. In the main window click new, u will be asked the destination of the zip file that u want to create. (Ie: mother.zip) then click add, to add the files into the mother.zip file that you have just created. add as many files as you wish. then click ok. that's all. find the mother.zip file and send it to armorama for us to read your review.

another popular compression tools:
WinRAR
gzip
pkunzip

there're so many choices up there but i think u will be okay with winzip

my 2 cents
