With the events of the week and the disaster our neighbors to the south are still dealing with, I hate to even ask:
If you have a some time this labor day, watch a little of the MDA telethon. My daughter has MD, so I know what this organizations does with the money they raise. With their help, our family and all affected people hope for a cure for 43 different neuromuscular diseases.
Jerry Lewis issued a press release stating that the MDA would donate one million dollars of the money the telethon raises to the Katrina relief effort. Even if you can't donate this year, please take a little time and get to know a little about the MDA and the families they serve. Thanks.
Patrick

Will do Patrick. It is sort of an end of summer ritual for me. I did not see the firemen out yesterday "filling the boot" which I thought was odd...
The timing could not be worse for the telethon but American's have deep pockets and I am sure they (we) will "man up."
Give your daughter my best,
Shaun
