I'm just new to modelling and have been given an airbrush kit. It's a used DeVilbiss Aerograph Sprite Major. It has the actual airbrush, hose, can of propellant, and valve to attach the hose to the can. It was from a mining company paint shop that closed down over 10 years ago, but it looks as if it was hardly used. From what I can tell, it's a suction feed system but there is no bottle for the paint.

I went to our local hobby store but they only had Paasche?/ parts and the bottles didn't fit mine. Does anybody know if they still make bottles for the Aerograph Sprite Major or if any others fit?

I would really like to try airbrushing, but I don't want to have to buy a whole new kit.

Thanks,
Das

You could try here:
http://www.bearair.com/default.asp
They have an Aerograph Sprite Major listed, and spare parts listing for them.
They probably would be able to answer your questions about bottles.

Tried in vain to find an Aerograph bottle but no luck. They can be ordered from the UK but that was a last resort.
I went to my local hobby store and bought a Paasch bottle and it fits. It's not snug but it stays on and is working well.
