Just saw on ML that the owner of Village Hobby in Austin passed away last weekend. http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=47211&messageid=1125446511

There are two great independent shops in Austin but Village Hobby reminded me of Phil's with the old salts who could talk about armor for hours. My condolences to his family.
