Too all users of this airbrush... is it capable of large through mid coverage areas? In other words, can I spray 1:35 model tanks down with a base coat, and not just use it for fine detail work?... versatile or not?
I was going to purchase a Aztec set... but I still thought this airbrush would be better.... any comments on this airbrush would be appreciated... as well as if this airbrush is easy to clean or not. Thank you guys.

Yes it is capable of "general" coverage the bigest downfal is the size of the color cup but it will work.. You may need to fil the cup a few times.

I've got a HP-C and I love it!! Not sure if it is usefull for large area coverage though since I have only had it a couple of weeks. I have been having a lot of problems with the needle however. I keep on bending the tip. I think I've got through about 2 in 3 weeks!!!
. If I were you however, I would still go for the Iwata.

oh... that is kind of a pain
My local art store has a Iwata Revolution Airbrush Kit
that includes the revolution CR for a good price... I might get that instead....
How is the eclipse series by Iwata? How does it compare to the HP-C? They are going at pretty prices at my art store too... soo many to decide from
Badger is also looks good... hah.
The Aztec set looks really good however... it has like 5 different needles... oh the possibilities!

Having been the guy that sold Mr L:eese on the Iwata he uses, I recommend any of their products to anyone. Thanks for chiming in there buddy!!! I switched to an Iwata from the testors A470 and it was a pleasure to use after years of torture from the Testors/Aztec experience. Now I own 2 Iwata AB's one is siphon tube and bottle I bought for LARGE areas and the second being the the afor mentioned C model. I've yet to really use the bottled AB as I can do everything from preshade to base coat to weathering/filter with the C. and usually with one on refill of the cup. So, Again I have to recommend the HP-C Iwata HTH STUG

You may consider the HP-CH for a couple of dollars more you get both air & paint flow preset adjustments, enabling you to paint a consistant line at what ever size you want. All other things are compariable to the HP-C.
