Hello every one

Moving here from ML, as found that ML doesn't want people that have knowledge. After reading all the post which are very funny!!! Had a very good laugh, but that got exhausting of all the cheap tricks. Insult, name calling and the best one was when they compared me to Mig
That was priceless!!!!
My name is Ruslan, originally from Russia now living in USA.

Hi Ruslan!
Glad you made the change. You can indeed give constructive critisism here....in the proper forms of course

.
The only thing we ask is that we're all polite to each other and be aware that we help all the younger modellers on the site.
Welcome.

Missing-Lynx modeling website. Another good site, especially for WWII modeling and good, accurate answers for tecnical questions, etc. Some great people there as well. Sometimes it is a little formal though, see posting guidlines (sort of) in MAJ Rob's post. Sometimes there are trolls there as well.

There is nothing at all wrong with constructive comments as long as they are given in a polite manner, which was your problem on ML. Regardless I hope you enjoy Armorama.

Pre-story to the Mig.
As I been told by one of he's friend, he ignored my first post(just is delet, want to know why). And e-mail would be pointless as he could always say that he never got it and will take year to reply me. So only way to get he's attention is the way I did. They had a change of not getting all personal but they did, and my reply's to every one was nice.
http://vif2ne.ru/smf/forum/files/Dojo/STZsold1.jpg This is what coming from Mig, he said that he's "friend" did it, yeah I know the friends story.
If you guys what some infromation.
Road wheels that are used on this model(T-34 STZ) from Tagil factory not STZ. Plus this road wheels had been made after production of STZ had ended.
missing antenna mount, photo that Mig showed me of T-34/85 can't be taken for account as T-34/85 had antenna mounted on the other side.
THank you again for a welcome.

Well Ruslan, first of all, welcome to the site. I'm sure that you can make a valuable and positive contribution..
One other thing, is that I honesly don't think that it is our place here to attack other sites. Everyone does things differently and each site has both its quirks and positive sides. That said, as far as pure information is concerned,
Missing-Lynx is in a class of its own.. I dislike using the word 'expert', however, the expertise in the forums in ML is truly mind-boggling. Is it a 'friendly' site? Probably not, but that, in no way diminishes its value for the modeller...Jim

Rouslan I read that post on ML. While I don't doubt you know your material it was in the way that you wrote the post.
Just remember that Mig has a long standing reputation and you don't. Right or wrong, Mig has been around a long time and has built up a lot of credibility among not just at ML but in the entire model industry. While it sounds as if you really are really familiar with the T34, not many people know who you are from a hole in the wall. If you had rephrased your sentences somewhat I'm sure you would not have been so viciously flamed over there.
As you can see a long standing good reputation can allow one to get away with a few mistakes whereas a confrontational reputation can get you a lot of flak, even if you are accurate.
Welcome aboard!

Alan is pretty much on track with this observation,Dojo.
Mig is one hell of an artist in this hobby subject of ours, but the majority of his work would probably get kicked to death from a fanatical rivet review board. To me,he has been solidly on top in color choice and blending/presentation.There are only a few people that come even neighborly close when building catastrophically destroyed armor. He has an easy time pulling off this difficult look that is easily spoiled by the smallest error that will scream'fake'.
Ruslan,I respect your knowledge of the armor arena and wish to call on you for answers to those kind of questions in the future for a long time to come.
I can only suggest that you apply a little brotherly diplomatic touch to your helpful comments.I also realize language/grammer issues can make profound differances in communication and probably played a large part in the ML incident.
OK ?
Another round please......
