I have been hearing about this book for some time now, and was curious....I then read our good member HalfYank's endorsement of this book and, because I value his opinion, I decided I'd better check this out...........well! I have just started reading it, and I seriously have been enjoying every page.
For those who may not know what book I am talking about, it is a book that is about a couple of commercially trained scuba divers who stumble across the wreck of a WW II German U-Boat just off the shore {approximately 60 miles} of New Jersey and the circumstances that surround this historical discovery.
The author, a Robert Kurson, has a very pleasing writing style and {I'm qouting his preface} writes his book as accurately as possible while eliminating any and all 'writer's license'....
I have just started reading the book {I'm on page 106}, so I'm certainly not the best critic for this maybe, but I just thought some of you may enjoy the read as much as I am......
 many thx for stopping by....
Tread.
BTW.....if any of you want to jump in and either join me in throwin' kudo's at the book, or just simply throw things at me for endorsing such a lame piece of literature.......feel free
