I figure there's some graphics designers here somewhere. What cool images have you made? My latest is shown here. This is version 1, so to speak. I'll upload version 2 next chance I get.

In the update, I've made Yoda bigger, added a YodaQuote, made the Imperial logo more visible, and lightened it a bit.
I did the lightsaber blade myself using a rotoscoping technique. (if you ever want a picture of yourself holding an active lightsaber, you've come to the right guy! )
All the elements in the image above were added separately using Adobe Photoshop 4.0

I can't do anything quite that elaborate, but I like to fiddle around with the free software that came with the digital camera. This is my favorite picture of myself (taken shortly before campaigning in the Sudan ).

I think with practice, I'll get better...

Zach, The program I used was Adobe Photoshop 4.0. My brother says he can make me a copy of... err... loan me version 7.0
Folfore, charming pic! (no, really! :-) )
Claymore, those a re some pretty cool renderings! What program did you use? 3D Studio Max?
Gunnie, pretty cool! If you ever want me to make a pic for you (put a model of yours in a cool backround) don't hesitate to ask! It's the least I could do for you giving me all the modelbuilding advice! The same goes for anyone else who reads this.

Okay - you're on! I'm wrapping up my M45 Pershing. When done, I'll forward some pics to you. Pick the best one and see what you can come up with for a background.

I used KPT Bryce 2 (now a Corel package). The aircraft were imported from DXF files I found on the net. Bryce is superb at landcapes and skies especially.
