How many cylinders has your engine?

Did you check the valve timing?
Whats this 'exhaust' you mentioned?
Sorry Mike, old habits and all that, I hope you have your wheels going again tommorow.
cheers

It's a 2 stroke (Lambretta the exhust is an expansion chamber to needs a more fitting than normal valve timming no need, Engines quite a high tuned job puts out 16.3bhp might not sound like a lot but it done 93mph on a rolling road in June not bad for a 1960 shopping trolly that had a top speed of 45 mph,
Need to have it done for before next w/e got a road race sorry sight seening around the country:-)
scooter,

expansion chamber,

Davy,
As old rider on these "dinosaurs" in the sixties (Italian Lambretta and Vespa) but it's the fisrst time I see your Lambretta's exhaust, surely that is not a genuine part but if you could boot this disnosaur up to 93 mph, you have to send to Innocenti your proposal to boot their engines!
La machina va vroum vroum sul la strada!

Frank,
Sadly Innocenti went bust in 1972 after British Leyland (rover) bought them out BTW notice a theme here
and told them to stop making stuff on 2 wheels my scooter is far from the fastest in the country one beat me just as the rolling road was about to close he got 105mph down on last year from 121 mph he also bagged the prize money as well
rolling roads are good but are normally totally windf resistant ect due to their enclosed nature so the final speed doesnt really translate to what it does on the road.
Have oyu got any old pics of you on your scooters? I'd like to see them

Davy,
Unfortunately, my last Lambretta sold in 1969 and I don't have any picture of these old days, but your thread makes me remember these engines (at that time I had many success to flirt many girls with these scooters).
Thank you for showing the picture.
