Whilst doing an audit of the paints in my paint collection(some of which I have actually used)! I realise I have some surplus silver. This is Vallejo Model Air: Silver, Chrome and Aluminium. Somehow I convinced myself I needed each of these a couple of months ago. I tested them together on some plasticard and guess what? Yes they all look like silver paint. There may be the teeniest of differences between them but I would say they could be used to represent scale silver paint, possibly aluminium and chrome if looked at on a dark night with a squint.

These are free to whoever wants them in the UK on the understanding I'll bung em in an envelope with a first class stamp. One per customer, first come first served. Send me address details buy clicking the message button at the bottom of this posting.

Hi Ross,

I have recently joined the Armorama Club & i am impressed. The reason I am contacting you I saw your location as the south east. As I am doing a contract job for a few months down in the South east from November & I am wondering if there is any local Model clubs in the area of Coryton (Graves end?) or that vercinity. (Who would take a Locum member to satify his addiction) I am a member of IPMS Cleveland who have a wide variety of Model builders with all areas of models being covered. (Bit lacking on ships!!!).
Anyway my interests are Military, all types of Figures & Motorcycles but I dabbled with all facets which hold my interest. Hope you can find time to anwser.
Regards
Mark
(PS Saw your spare Model Air metallic colours which would be ideal for my bikes do you still have them & I would gladly pay for them)

Unfortunately I am at the West End of the South East so don't know anything about the Gravesend area. There is a very active IPMS group in Farnborough Hampshire (not Kent) but I don't know of any others further Gravesend way. I'm sure other Armoramorers must know.

Unfortunately there were three very quick responders for the free silver and it went a while back. Whether chrome, silver or aluminium it all looked like silver paint to me. I recommend Alclad for shiny bike bits, but I don't have any of that spare.

Good Luck in Gravesend Mark.

Hi Ross,
Thanks for the feedback! Looks like I will have to put a thread on for the Gravesend area of the South East.
Best Regards
Mark
